Join me for a Ghost Walk

Walking with the Ghosts of Durham started over 3 years ago offering a guided tour of Durham City. Stories and legends from Durham’s dark past, tales that have shaped and moulded both the city and county into what we see today: all aim to reveal the dark and hidden faces and places of one of the jewels of the North East.

Walking with the Ghosts of Durham... are you brave enough?

We weave and wind around the streets with gruesome and grizzly tales. We learn of murder and mayhem, saints and sinners (sometimes the same person), and discuss legends of the ghosts, spirits, wyrms and giants said to once terrorise the good folk of the city – along with the heroes who are said to have faced them.
